The works are constructed from layered source materials that often include 19th-century photographs, scanned objects, and contemporary imagery.Each image develops slowly through an extended process of assembling, adjusting, and refining visual elements. A single piece may take several weeks—or sometimes more than a month—to complete as the composition evolves into a dreamlike scene where animals, figures, and ordinary objects take on unexpected roles.
